Web Shop or Not?

A lot of people perceive that to run sales and get money via their website is complicated, expensive and difficult.

It doesn't have to be. You don't have to have a Web Shop or Credit Card facilities. So if you are a business that send out invoices - then use your website and email to collect payments!

Bank Transfer to your bank

If you are not already doing so, start putting your bank account details on you invoice. Perhaps even offer a small discount for online payment via bank transfer.

As well as sending your invoice by via Royal Mail - send it to them via email. You could get payments in faster, less paper generated, once established - no postal fees.

Using Credit Cards

You don't need a full Web Shop. Even if you want to sell several items, this is done simply by using PayPal or Google Checkout. I prefer Google Checkout, it is simple to set up and use, you don't need merchant services. It is perfect for collecting payment from invoices, selling a small range of products and services.
